Deana lives in Mesa, Arizona with her husband Dale, and any of their five kids who happen to be passing through. She can often be found meeting a friend for coffee or a walk in the park, reading a good book,or browsing plant-based magazines for new recipes.

- Hanging out with her kids when they are together in the same city

- Hiking the Arizona desert
- FaceTiming and real life visits with her granddaughter Aurora
